The importance of first aid

I read about this story in on my way into work this morning, about a woman who fell from Cheddar Gorge in Somerset and needed help. She was helped by a mystery climber who provided first aid assistance, stablising the casualty before help from many other emergency services arrived on the scene.

Just goes to show that you never know where you might be able to use your first aid skills and swift, appropriate action certainly makes a difference.
