You never know when you’ll need first aid training. One of your loved ones might be suffering a heart attack. Your child might be choking on a toy. You might be walking down the street and see someone lying there, unconscious and not breathing. Would you know what to do to save their life?
I would. But that’s because I’ve had first aid training. Sadly, according to a survey we carried out last year, only 7 per cent of people would be able to recall first aid advice, which is a very low number.
We make first aid training really easy to learn. We don’t deliver courses in parrot fashion. We run interactive courses that let you learn and remember first aid, rather than just attend yet another training course. And we certainly aim to make sure that more than 7 per cent of people can recall the training they’ve had.
I have used my first aid training to treat incidents while providing event first aid as well as when I’m off duty. My own ankle, for instance, or my finger, cutting food, have both benefited from my first aid knowledge. The fact of the matter is you never know when first aid skills might come in handy.
You could put your first aid knowledge to good use too. Learn first aid with us. You never know when you’ll need it!
