The Disaster Response Challenge really is an event with a difference. It gives participants (and you could be one of them) the opportunity to experience first hand the issues and decisions faced by the British Red Cross international Emergency Response Unit (ERU).
The role of the ERU is to respond as quickly as possible to a humanitarian disaster whenever and wherever in the world it may occur, offering practical help to people in crisis.
Based on a hypothetical disaster that unfolds in real time over a two-day period, this event will challenge and test the calmest and most practical of you. It is run by members of the British Red Cross ERU, experts in Disaster Response logistics and experienced professional trainers who specialise in personal development and team building.
So, if you’re interested in this unique opportunity, watch this short video to find out more – all money raised from the event will help the work of the British Red Cross.
