I’m no expert on dance shows – I’ve never seen Strictly Come Dancing or Britain’s Got Talent – but right now I’m pretty sure that Bolly-flex of Got to Dance have to be the best.
I’m completely biased and won’t hide what motivated this newfound fandom: they’ve pledged to give £100,000 of the prize money to the Red Cross if they win!
The group are through to the semi-finals on Sunday and if they win the public vote, they’ll take on ten acts in the final the following week. The grand prize is £250,000 and if they get it they plan to donate £100,000 to the British Red Cross and use the other £150,000 to put on a Bollywood-spectacular show in Tower Hamlets.
Inspired by their philanthropy, I thought I’d best find them on YouTube and have spent the past half hour engrossed in a display of dance moves so fast-paced and fun, it can’t help but make you smile.
I’m planning to vote for them on Sunday – for their dancing and for their potential contribution to the Red Cross. I know it costs to call so I won’t urge you to do the same, but I would recommend checking them out on YouTube.
And a big good luck to Bolly-flex from us!
Watch the show on Sky One this Sunday at 6pm.

Victoria used to write about all things fundraising for the British Red Cross, but now she's working overseas.
