On Tuesday Lindsay Lohan hosted a special BRIT awards screening and after-party to raise funds for the British Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Appeal. The totals are still being counted but the aim was to raise £100,000 and fingers crossed we’ll have made it.
We know Lindsay gets a lot of bad press, but on the night she was wonderfully charming and told us she was there simply “to raise as much money as she could for Haiti”. She even bought one of the auction prizes – a signed shirt by Jozy Altidore, the football player for Hull – as a present for her younger brother.
And here’s a video of LiLo at the event asking people to raise as much as possible for the Appeal – make sure to share it with all your friends and LiLo fans.

Victoria used to write about all things fundraising for the British Red Cross, but now she's working overseas.
